Transport Minister Sibusiso Ndebele, together with his Namibian counterpart His Excellency Erkki Nghimtina, Minister of Works and Transport in Namibia, will sign a Memorandum of Agreement at the OR Tambo International Airport on Tuesday, 22 February 2011.
The main purpose of the agreement is to facilitate the process of providing access to e-Natis technology to the government of Namibia, thus enabling Namibia to administer and maintain the national vehicle and driver register by means of the National Traffic Information System.
The Memorandum of Agreement will enable the government of Namibia to have access to current and future application software to administer and maintain their vehicle and driver register by means of the e-Natis.
