Minister Ndebele launches Easter Road Safety, Arrive Alive campaign 2012

Transport Minister Sibusiso Ndebele will officially launch the 2012 Easter Road Safety, Arrive Alive Campaign in Springs, Gauteng this Sunday, 18 March.

The Minister will be joined by Roads and Transport and Safety and Liaison MECs from various provinces, Executive Mayors, senior government officials and various stakeholders in the transport industry.

Arch-Bishops, Bishops, Pastors, Priests and churches from around Gauteng will also join the Minister and lead interfaith prayers during the launch.

Details of the launch are as follows:
Date: Sunday, 18 March 2012
Venue: Springs Indoor Sports Arena, (South Main Reef Road, off Paul Kruger Highway)
Time: 10h00

NB: The Minister is expected to visit a near-by roadblock prior to the event, and therefore media are advised to be at the event by 9am.

Transport for members of the public to the launch has been arranged around Soweto, Ekurhuleni, Orange Farm and Mpumalanga.
