Minister Nathi Mthethwa to meet with all recognised Kings of the Republic of South Africa

The Acting Minister for Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Nathi Mthethwa, is due to meet with all the recognised Kings of the Republic of South Africa on Thursday, 11 August 2011.

A first of its kind since the establishment of the Department of Traditional Affairs (DTA), the purpose of the meeting is to discuss all pertinent issues that affect the Kings. In addition, Minister Mthethwa will consult and brief the Kings on developments around the National Traditional Affairs Bill (NTAB), and also discuss the establishment of the Kings Council and Kings Forum.
