The Minister of Science and Technology, Naledi Pandor will tomorrow, Wednesday, 12 September 2012 at 8h00 deliver the keynote address at the Higher Education Resource Services of South Africa (HERS–SA), currently underway at the Upper East Side Hotel, Woodstock in Cape Town.
HERS- SA is a non-profit organisation which supports the advancement of gender equity for women working in Higher Education.
The Academy is a six-day, interactive, professional development opportunity for women employed in the Higher Education throughout Southern Africa. The event attracts over 80 women annually, mainly from South Africa, as well as Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, Namibia, Zambia, Angola, Malawi, Botswana, Tanzania, Uganda, Mauritius, and the USA.
Minister Pandor is expected to share her reflections as a HERS-SA alumna factors which have influenced her career mobility as a woman within the Higher Education sector and other spheres.
Minister’s keynote address will be followed by a panel discussion by other alumnae and question and answer session.
