Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga will tomorrow, Thursday 3 November 2011 officially open a brand new school, Ramokokastad Primary, in Ramokokastad, Moses Kotane Municipality in the North West.
The R 3.9 million state-of-the-art school was built by PPC cement in a private-public partnership with the Department of Education. The new school will admit Grade R - 6 learners and boasts 10 new classrooms, a fully-furnished library, an administration block and a computer laboratory.
It replaces the old mud school which for many years, had poor facilities and unhygienic conditions that led to high absenteeism and a high failure rate.
