Basic Education Minister, Angie Motshekga, Free State Premier Ace Magashule and the Executive Council will on Sunday, 17 October 2010 attend a prayer service for 2010 Grade 12 learners at St John Methodist Church in Bloemfontein, Batho Location.
In support of the class of 2010, the prayer service seeks to motivate and encourage learners to do their best and obtain excellent results in their final year examinations.
The Free State Premier Ace Magashule, Members of the Executive Council (MECs) of all departments, Members of the Provincial Legislature, (MPLs) trade unions, Congress of South African Students (COSAS), South African Students Congress (SASCO) and school governing bodies representatives are expected to attend the event.
About 2 500 learners will be ferried from five districts of the province to attend the prayer service.
The Free State Department of Education calls on all education stakeholders to support the class of 2010.
