Ms Edna Molewa, the Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs, will the turn the sod for the Department of Environmental Affairs (DEA) new green office building on Thursday, 19 July 2012 in Arcadia, Pretoria.
The Environmental Affairs Green Building is designed to meet green output specifications, using sustainable building materials. The new Green Building will set a high standard for the construction sector in terms of sustainable development, urban greening, energy and water efficiency.
The DEA green building will be the new head office accommodation in Pretoria and is being implemented in terms of a Public Private Partnership procurement process.
