Minister Fikile Mbalula will launch the National Sport Volunteer Corp. The National Sport Volunteer Corp will primarily be to involve the former sports legends, former athletes/players/coaches and ordinary South African citizens from sporting and fitness sector and like to contribute to sport development in South Africa.
"These legends, former players, athletes and coaches will be used as coaches and talent identifiers, technical officials, sport administrators and facility managers. We will also be learning from their experiences and wisdom in various forums that are key, as we create this big movement for sport and recreation in the country" said Minister Fikile Mbalula.
