Correctional Services Minister, Ms Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula Member of Parliament, will hold a media briefing on the approved White Paper on Remand Detention.
Minister Mapisa-Nqakula will also unpack the Correctional Matters Amendment Bill which will be introduced into Parliament. It will touch on the new Medical Parole Policy among other matters. Members of the media are invited to attend for purposes of gaining greater insight on these milestones in the administration of Correctional Services in South Africa.
