The Minister of Home Affairs, Malusi Gigaba, will on Tuesday, 20 March 2018 undertake a tour of the state’s printing facility, the Government Printing Works (GPW).
The Minister’s visit is aimed at assessing GPW’s ability to provide enabling documents such as Smart ID cards as well as passports, in particular the travel documents as the Easter season approaches.
It is expected that many South Africans would be applying for documents to travel outside of the country during this period.
