The Minister of Public Service and Administration, Ms Lindiwe Sisulu will tomorrow, 26 September 2012 deliver a keynote address at the State Information Technology Agency (SITA’s) 7th annual GovTech Conference in Durban.
The main aim for GovTech 2012 is to unlock the potential of information and communication technologies in assisting all spheres of government to work together to achieve government objectives.
As part of the Conference, Minister Sisulu will also unveil a new multimedia laboratory for the Uthando Primary School situated in Inanda. The laboratory will bring about change to more than 1 000 learners registered this year, 2012.
The computer laboratory is a joint project between the State Information Technology Agency (SITA) and information and communications technology (ICT) Industry partners.
