Minister to launch new adventure tourism initiative in Ceres, Western Cape

Adventure Tourism in South Africa will receive a boost when Mr Marthinus van Schalkwyk, Minister of Tourism, together with Ms Tokozile Xasa, the  Deputy Minister of Tourism, will officially launch the newest adventure tourism initiative that the Ceres Valley in the Western Cape adds to its bouquet - the Zipslide Tour.

A tour comprises a number of slides and the complete tour totals a length of 1.4 kilometres but offers eight slides of varying lengths which is spun across the various diverse tourism features that the Ceres Valley has to offer. This includes rock formations, the majestic dam and river as well as indigenous fauna and flora. It is the longest zipslide tour in Africa!
