The main purpose of the event is to create an opportunity for work seekers to meet with prospective employers and other organisations or departments that can assist with their placement in different forms of employment or learning opportunities.
- The department will outline its strategies and initiatives aimed at rebuilding its Public employment service.
- Provide platform for employers and work seekers to discuss mutual beneficial opportunities, experiences and challenges.
The event will also provide the Minister of Labour with a platform to make new announcements on employment matters.
