Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Ms Maite Nkoana-Mashabane to host several Chief Executive Officers of South African companies operating their business outside the borders of South Africa. The working breakfast will be held at the Sandton Sun on 23 November 2010 from 07h55 to 10h00.
Minister will host the CEOs within the context of strengthening political and economic relations which is informed by government policy priorities for enhancing economic diplomacy.
In this context minister will use the working breakfast as a platform for engagements with the CEOs of South African companies which are increasingly investing and looking for more investment opportunities outside the borders of the republic in a bid to benefit from favourable international markets.
“It is our view that our engagements with the CEOs from different companies will help us as DIRCO to have a clear understanding of challenges faced by our companies operating outside our borders as result of political instability to certain countries of their interest and how as the department on behalf of the government can help said the minister”.
