Minister of Higher Education and Training to brief media, public and stakeholders on National Skills Development Strategy (NSDS3)

Dr Blade Nzimande, Minister of Higher Education and Training will on Thursday launch the 3rd version of National Skilss Development Strategy (NSDS). There will be a press briefing where media, stakeholders and senior officials are invited.

National Skills Development Strategy is a planthat outlines all the key challenges that undermines skilling of average South African, in particular its working class. It systematically maps out needed skills for personal development and economic growth for the New Growth Path.

Further, it mapssome practical plans and resources that needs to be unleashed in skilling South Africans. NSDS 3 seeks to align existing institutions like Sector Education and Training Authorities (SETAs), FETs, with Universities so that we have a single integrated seamless post school system serves and respond to South African skills needs.
