On Tuesday, Western Cape Education (WCED) Minister Donald Grant will be visiting Impendulo Public Primary School.
Impendulo will be receiving an award the following evening for “Overall improvement in performance in the context within which a school operates” for their substantial improvements in their 2010 Grade 3 literacy and numeracy results.
On Wednesday evening, the WCED will be holding the provincial primary school awards for meritorious academic performance by schools in the Grade 3 and 6 literacy and numeracy test.
Minister Grant will be congratulating the principal and educators at the school ahead of the award ceremony and will ask them to share with him and the media their litnum strategies that have seen substantial improvements over the last two years.
