On Monday, 27 February 2012, Minister Grant will be monitoring latecoming at Langa Secondary in Langa.
The school has been experiencing high levels of latecoming this year. The school is now beginning to introduce new measures to curb latecoming, including marking class attendance registers at the start of the first period, and introducing afternoon detention.
Minister Grant will be monitoring the school gate on Monday and will also speak to the late learners promoting the message of "time on task".
