The Deputy Minister of Home Affairs, Honourable Malusi Gigaba, will address the World Refugee Day conference in Cape Town. World Refugee Day is an international day celebrated on 20 June annually.
The University of Cape Town Law Clinic together with the Agency for Refugee Education, Skills Training and Advocacy (ARESTA), Sonke Gender Justice Network, have convened a one day conference titled: Legal and Social Protection Perspectives on Migration in South Africa.
The aim of the World Refugee Day conference is to initiate exchange between academics, policy makers and practitioners on migration and legal and social protection in South Africa.
