Minister of Energy Ms Dipuo Peters will on Thursday, 26 May, table the department’s 2011 Budget Vote speeches in Parliament, Cape Town. The Minister will brief the media on her speech at 12h30 (details below) before the actual tabling in Room E249 at 14h00.
The budget vote will focus on key deliverables and outputs that the Department of Energy will focus on this fiscal year and beyond, as well as aligning the broader policy objectives of government and responses to key instruments such as the New Growth Path and the Industrial Policy Action Plan.
NB: The speech will be followed by a Networking Session at Pigalle Restaurant in Green Point at 18h00.
