Members of the media are invited to attend and cover the Black Management Forum (BMF) briefing session scheduled to take place at Kimberley in the Northern Cape where the Minister of Energy, Ms Dipuo Peters will deliver a keynote speech.
The minister's speech will cover a range of interesting opportunities in the energy sector including clean energy, electricity and oil & gas. In her engagement she will also expand on international agreements and how these will benefit the country and the region.
Ms Dipuo Peters, as the Minister of Energy had the pleasure of being nominated as Jury member of the Zayed Future Energy Prize to champion the commitment to finding solutions that will meet the challenges of climate change, energy security and the environment.
In this role, she joins other green activists who have been selected as part of the Zayed Future Energy Prize. The Zayed Future Energy Prize aims to incentivise, encourage and become a catalyst for the ingoing development of renewable energy and clean technology.
BMF: The aim of the breakfast session is to promote debate and engagement about key economic drivers which enhance or retard local economic development, and energy has been identified as such. It will pose an opportunity to exchange ideas on how best we can together enhance development in the province
