Please be advised that the rhino poaching media briefing scheduled for tomorrow, 29 March 2012 at Gallagher Estate from 13h00 to 14h00 has been cancelled. The Department will still issue a media statement tomorrow, to update media on the issue of rhino poaching.

The Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs, Ms Edna Molewa, will host a media briefing on rhino poaching at Gallagher Estate in Midrand on Thursday, 29 March 2012 between 13h00 - 14h00.
The briefing will provide the latest developments on rhino poaching and the progress of anti-poaching interventions to date. In addition, she will update media on additional measures and steps aimed at addressing the scourge of rhino poaching.
