Edna Molewa, the Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs will brief media on the progress being made towards South Africa’s participation at the 17th Conference of the Parties (COP17) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
South Africa is preparing to host and participate in the UNFCCC COP17 to be held in Durban from 28 November to 9 December 2011.
