The Minister of Social Development, Ms Bathabile Dlamini and MECs for Social Development will converge for a Social Development MINMEC meeting in Limpopo province. The details of the meeting are as follows:

On the agenda will be the discussion on the outcomes and resolutions of the recent 2nd Biennial Substance Abuse Summit, Draft Green Paper on Family Policy, update on humanitarian assistance for victims of natural disasters and Foster Care Grant reviews.
MINMEC will address a media briefing at 14h00 on the outcomes of the meeting.
On the second day the Minister and the MECs will conduct outreach programme and visit community development projects in Jane Furse. The Deputy Minister, Mrs Maria Ntuli will visit Sekutupu Old Age Home in Zebediela.
