Minister of Social Development, Ms Bathabile Dlamini, will tomorrow address the 18th Biennial Conference of the National Association for Child Care Workers (NACCW) in Port Elizabeth.
During the 2011 Departmental Budget Vote, the Minister announced plans to recruit and train 10 000 Child and Youth Care Workers over the next three years, to support children living in child-headed households.

Minister Dlamini will announce this plan at the conference. The conference will also be attended by the MEC for Social Development and Special Programs in the Eastern Cape, Dr Pemmy Majodina.
