The Minister of Energy, Ms Dipuo Peters and role players in the liquid fuels industry are meeting on Thursday, 6 August 2009 to discuss the current crisis on the shortage of jet fuel at the OR Tambo International Airport.
The role players include Transnet Pipelines, South African Petroleum Industry Association (SAPIA), the Airports Company of South Africa (ACSA) and various oil companies.
Members of the media are invited to a photo opportunity at 09h45 at Lakefield Office Park, Block D, c/o Lenchen and West Ave, Centurion.
This will be followed by a media briefing at 11h00.
