The Minister of Trade and Industry Dr Rob Davies, will brief members of the media on the findings of the Gambling Review Commission.

Minister Davies had established a commission at the end of 2009 to study issues around gambling. The scope of the Gambling Review Commission covered, amongst others:
- the social effects of gambling and mechanisms in place to address them
- commitment of the industry to social investment
- evaluate the adequacy of the regulatory framework to accommodate and effectively deal with the impact of technology and new trends
- the effectiveness of current regulation, control and enforcement structures
