Members of the media are invited to attend a media briefing that will be addressed by the Minister of Trade and Industry, Dr Rob Davies on the unsecured lenders at Marikana and other investigations.
A number of micro lenders have been arrested in various provinces, over the past few months, for violating the National Credit Act by retaining consumers Identity Documents and Bank cards.

Minister Davies, together with his UK counterpart, Mr Vincent Cable, will also use this opportunity to brief the media on the bilateral trade and investment relations between the two countries. Cable is in South Africa on an official visit.
