The Minister of Correctional Services, the Honourable Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula and her entourage will tour Zonderwater Production Workshops and interact with inmates on Monday, 26 September 2011 to kick start the Department of Correctional Services flagship programme, Corrections Week.
Zonderwater prides itself with the following pockets of excellence:
- Production Workshops
- Animal farming (chicken, beef and milk)
- Land farming (vegetables, agronomy).

Media is invited to accompany the Minister of Correctional Services and to witness various skills development projects that are taking place behind bars. You will be allowed to accompany the Minister and her entourage inside the Correctional Centres (prisons), interview and take photos of the inmates while working at the production workshops and farming areas.
