Minister Collins Chabane to deliver the Inaugural Media Freedom Lecture

Minister in The Presidency for Performance Monitoring, Evaluation and Administration, Collins Chabane will deliver a keynote address at the Inaugural Media Freedom Lecture and Colloquia hosted by wRite associates today, 31 October 2011.

Media Freedom Lecture and Colloquia is part of the National Days Lecture and Colloquia series originated and managed by the wRite associates to reflect on the road so far traveled, lessons learnt and forecast prospects for the future. The other important aim of the Lecture and Colloquia is to celebrate the achievements of media workers and their contributions to our freedom.

The address will be preceded by a panel discussion with Press Ombudsman Joe Thloloe, Pretoria News editor Zingisa Mkhuma, publisher and author Mothobi Mutloatse and playwright, poet and author Duma ka Ndlovu.
