Minister in The Presidency for Performance Monitoring and Evaluation, Collins Chabane will deliver an address at the 2012 Secretaries Association of the Legislative Sector of South Africa (SALSA) Development Seminar in East London on Thursday, 4 October 2012.
The Seminar is held with objectives of assessing and deepening the role of Legislatures in a democratic developmental state and strengthens capacity. It further seeks to enhance our understanding about the role of Legislatures in policy development and implementation.
Minister Chabane will address the seminar on the topic: Monitoring and Evaluation- oversight to deepen democracy and accountability for legislatures in a democratic developmental state.
The seminar which begins from today, Wednesday, 3 October 2012 is expected to be attended by Accounting Officers from National Parliament and provincial legislatures.
