Robin Carlisle, the Minister for Transport and Public Works in the Western Cape will tomorrow conduct site visits to the Khayelitsha and Mitchell’s Plain District Hospitals.
While the Khayelitsha District Hospital is just days away from completion, the anticipated completion date for the Mitchell’s Plain Hospital is the end of October 2012.

Directions:
Khayelitsha District Hospital
- Take the N2 to Khayelitsha
- Take the Spine Road turnoff and turn right over the N2
- Go through the circle and continue along Spine Road
- Go straight through the next intersection
- Turn left at the circle just before the bridge
- Go past the shopping centre and the Khayelitsha Magistrate’s Court
- Look out for the Khayelitsha District Hospital on your right.
Mitchell’s Plain District Hospital
- Drive along the N2 and go past the airport to your left
- Take the R300 towards Mitchells Plain
- Drive along the R300 until you see 2 cranes to your left.
- Take the first off-ramp (Stock Road)
- At the bottom of the off-ramp turn left into AZ Burman
- You will see the site to you left, with the billboards and flags
- Drive in at the security gate
- Drive into the site and park at the site offices
