The National Focal Point and Chairperson of the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) National Governing Council, Minister Richard Baloyi, will host the APRM national conference on Monday, 29 November 2010.
The conference will discuss and endorse the Second Annual Progress Report on the Implementation of the APRM Programme of Action. South Africa is expected to present her report at the African Union Heads of States and Government Summit of APRM participating countries (APR Forum) in January 2011.
The conference will bring together various stakeholders including representatives from government, business, civil society and other eminent guests.
Members of the media are invited to the national conference and will be provided an opportunity to interact with Minister Baloyi on issues emanating from the report.
