The Minister for the Public Service and Administration, Mr Richard Baloyi will this evening confer the Centre for Public Service Innovation (CPSI) Awards. The Awards seek to enhance the improvement of public service delivery through innovation.
The 2010 awards will also feature Special Ministerial Innovation Awards, wherein the minister will recognise innovations as applied by the Local Organising Committee (LOC) to coordinate an exceptional, innovative 2010 FIFA World Cup. The LOC will be represented by Dr Danny Jordan.
Ministers, MEC’s, Directors-General, Heads of Provincial Departments and other auspicious guests will grace the event. Titans of Industry and a number of corporate representatives will also attend the ceremony. The ceremony will present government and business further opportunities to explore partnerships for continued support of the culture of innovation in the country.
