Public Service and Administration Minister, Mr Richard Baloyi will this weekend address the inaugural information and communications technology (ICT) Governance Summit hosted by the Government Information Technology Officers Council (GITOC).
The summit will cover issues, legislation, regulations and prescripts to take into account when managing today’s complex Information Communication Technology in government.
The inaugural summit aims to demystify compliance as a concept, take various elements of compliance ad translate them into an implementable programme of action which the GITOC will sign off as a standard for the South African government ICT management.
