Minister Angie Motshekga and MEC Panyaza Lesufi visit Atteridgeville to promote Kha Ri Gude literacy campaign, 15 Oct

Minister of Basic Education Motshekga to attend the Kha Ri Gude roadshow and prayer service for examinations in Atteridgeville

The Minister of Basic Education and the MEC for Education in Gauteng will be in Atteridgeville to promote Kha Ri Gude mass literacy project which is aimed at reducing illiteracy rate among adult South Africans.  

Later in the afternoon the Minister and the MEC will host a prayer service to support the learners who will be writing the end-of-year examinations with special attention given to Grade 12 candidates who will sit for their final exams in 12 days time.  

The Minister will also address the media about the state of readiness for the Grade 12s and all examinations in general as well as provide more details about the Kha Ri Gude mass literacy project.
