The Provincial Minister of Cultural Affairs and Sport, Dr Ivan Meyer, will later this morning conclude a library protocol which will see the City of Cape Town's Library Services receiving a financial boost of R23.4 million for the 2012/13 financial year.
According to the Protocol, the City will continue to participate in the Western Cape Provincial Government's Materials Selection activities. Library material to the approximate value of R11 million will be available for this purpose.
