Parliament’s Select Committee on Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs will tomorrow get an update on the local government elections.
The department will also update the Committee on the Local Government: Municipal Systems Amendment Bill, as well as on the legislation envisaged in Section 139 (8) of the Constitution which deals with provincial intervention in local government.
