Members of the North West Provincial House of Traditional Leaders who have been elected recently will be sworn in tomorrow, Friday 22 June 2012 at the North West Mmabatho High Court.
The swearing in follows the reconstitution of Local and Provincial Houses of Traditional Leadership after their five years term came to an end.
Bojanala Platinum District which constitutes a large number of traditional leaders would again have most seats of 14 members, Ngaka Modiri Molema with eight members and Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati will be represented by two members. Dr Kenneth Kaunda District is not represented as it does not have any traditional council.
After the swearing in, members will elect the executive of their Provincial House constituting of the Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson and three additional members at Lowe building near the District Court. The North West MEC for Local Government and Traditional affairs, Honourable China Dododu is expected to grace the occasion.
