Twenty (24) members of the North West House of Traditional Leaders will be sworn in tomorrow, 12 March 2010 at a ceremony to be presided over by Acting Judge President Monica Mashangu Leeuw.
These members were recently elected following the North West House of Traditional Leaders Act no 3 of 2009 which was passed last year. The act makes provision for amongst others, a formula to determine the number of representatives to the local, provincial and national houses of traditional leaders.
