Meeting to discuss muti killings

The Minister for Women, Children and Persons with Disabilities, Noluthando Mayende-Sibiya is meeting with traditional healers in Pretoria today to discuss the challenge of what is generally called “muti killings”.

Minister Mayende-Sibiya made a commitment at the funeral of Kgomo Masego who was killed over the New Year period in Soshanguve that the ministry will work with traditional healers to find measures to address the problems of muti killings.

The meeting serves as an initial interaction between ministry and traditional healers to find measures to address the problem.

The meeting will be followed by a media briefing taking place as follows:
