On behalf of the President of the Republic of South Africa, His Excellency, Mr J. G. Zuma, the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform would like to invite members of the media to a sod turning event for a Smart Growth Centre at Inkandla.
The President will be accompanied by various Ministers of different portfolios from Rural Development and Land Reform to Economic Development, KZN Premier Dr Zweli Mkhize and his cabinet, uThungulu District Municipality, Inkandla Local Municipality and business big wigs.
The President will engage, consult and note views of the community of 26 Amakhosi within Umlalazi and Inkandla regarding the initiative and other service delivery matters.
The event is scheduled as follows:

Venue: Inkandla - Mamba Multipurpose Centre (KZN near the President's homestead)
Time: 09h00 to 15h00
With this new Smart Growth Centre the community of Inkandla will no longer need to travel long distances which forced them to spend their earnings on transportation instead of their families' groceries and support.
