The Gauteng Provincial Government in partnership with the West Rand District Municipality and the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site will host the provincial Heritage Day celebrations at Maropeng on the 24th of September 2011.
Activities for the day will include an International Olympic Day Fun Run and Walk led by the MEC Lebogang Maile and the SASCOC president; struggle heroes and heroines exhibition and the kiddies corner. Gauteng Premier Nomvula Mokonyane will deliver a keynote address.
