Cabinet will hold its mid-year Cabinet Lekgotla from 4 to 6 September 2012, at SM Makgatho Presidential Guesthouse in Pretoria.
The Lekgotla will deliberate on five key issues:
- Progress on implementation of government’s priorities
- Progress made on the implementation of the Presidential Infrastructure Coordination Commission
- Battle of ideas and the violent nature of service delivery protests
- Implementation plan for the National Development Plan vision 2030
- How is South Africa perceived internationally.
Members of the media are invited to a photo opportunity between 10h45 and 11h00 in the morning of the first day of the Lekgotla. Media are advised to arrive at 10h15 or earlier to set up.
