Media invitation to a briefing on the forthcoming Cape Town International Jazz Festival, 24 January 2012

Minister of Arts and Culture, Paul Mashatile will address a media conference to be held in Johannesburg on 24 January 2012, on the forthcoming Cape Town International Jazz Festival, CTIJF.

The Festival now preparing for its 13th year, aims to go beyond being just another musical event.

Minister Mashatile will outline many of the social investment projects intended to leave a lasting legacy, long after the music has ended.

The annual event is famous for delivering a star studded line up. Affectionately referred to as “Africa’s Grandest Gathering”, the festival is the largest music event in sub-Saharan Africa. The media conference will also be used to announce the 2012 artist line-up.
