The North West Research Coordinating Committee (NWRCC) invites all media to the second Research Showcase to be held in the province. The Premier Ms Maureen Modiselle, the NWRCC Chairperson Professor Job Mokgoro will attend including senior government officials from national government.
The showcase is one of the avenues through which researchers, policy makers and policy implementers would meet to dialogue on critical challenges facing the North West province.
A maximum of six presentations scheduled for the showcase are carefully selected to spark robust discussions amongst researchers, policy makers and implementers.
This showcase has in the past attracted participation from research institutions such as the Human Sciences Research Council (HSRC), Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Bureau of Market Research (BMR), Agricultural Research Council (ARC) and many others. The list promises to increase this year with keen interest being shown by more organisations. The showcase takes place as follows:
