UIF Commissioner to host media briefing in Bloemfontein, Free State
The Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) Commissioner Teboho Maruping, will host a media briefing in Bloemfontein, Free State, to unpack the key priorities of the Fund.
An update will be provided on the Covid-19 TERS Relief Scheme and normal benefits payments. The briefing will also give progress on fraud cases and Phase 2 of the Covid-19 TERS "follow the money" project.
Further, the Department of Employment and Labour will present the workplace inspections conducted in 2021/2022.
