UIF Commissioner to host Media Briefing in Cape Town
The Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) Commissioner Teboho Maruping, will host a media briefing where he will unpack the priorities of the Fund in the 2021/2022 financial year.
An update will be provided on Covid-19 TERS Relief Scheme and normal benefits payments.
The briefing will also give progress on fraud cases and the “follow the money” project.
Further, the Department of Employment and Labour will present on the workplace inspections conducted in 2021/2022.
