Members of the media are invited to a Technical Briefing for Shrien Dewani trial to be held at the Western Cape High Court on Monday, 7 April 2014 at 10h30.
After a successful extradition process, Mr Dewani is expected to arrive in the country on Tuesday, 8 April and will immediately be escorted to Western Cape High Court where he is expected to make his first appearance in a South African court of law.
Therefore, this Technical Briefing will be a platform where the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development, National Prosecuting Authority and the Office of the Chief Justice will interact with the members of the media on the proceedings of the day and set out the guidelines to be followed.
