Public Enterprises Minister Lynne Brown to deliver Budget Vote speech

The Minister of Public Enterprises, Ms Lynne Brown will tomorrow brief the media prior to her first Budget Vote speech in Parliament, Cape Town.

Minister Brown will outline some of the successes of the previous year and how State Owned Companies (SOC) delivered on key strategic projects that have assisted the State to eradicate poverty, create jobs and provide skills for the majority of South Africans. The Budget Vote speech will also highlight key deliverables of the current financial year that will see the Department together with SOC driving investment, productivity and transformation.

Minister Brown and the Deputy Minister Bulelani Magwanishe will be joined by Chairpersons and CEOs of the Eskom, Transnet, SAA, Broadband Infraco, Denel, Safcol, and South African Express at the briefing.
