The Premier of Gauteng, Panyaza Lesufi will on Thursday, 26 October 2023 give an update on the status of the Gauteng Provincial Government (GPG) Nasi Ispani jobs campaign. The Premier will also announce the upcoming launch of new employment initiatives that are part of the Nasi Ispani programme.
The Nasi Ispani jobs campaign is an initiative by the Gauteng Provincial Government aimed at addressing unemployment and promoting access to job opportunities available within the Gauteng Provincial Government.
In June this year, the provincial government advertised thousands of job opportunities accross its departments under the Nasi Ispani mass recruitment.
During the recruitment update in July, the Premier announced that the campaign attracted over a million applications and outlined a strigent recruitment plan that will ultimately ensure the placement of suitably qualified jobseekers.
